Designed a beautiful fantasy cover. Everyone loves it who sees it. I tell everyone to go to FED for great covers. |

It's not often that you meet someone and instantaneously click. It's even harder to that via the internet, but Farah seems to be able to do just fine! |

Where do I even start? I, along with my co-author had worked our tails off on a book that will create a paradigm shift in the way the medical field treats high cancer risk patients. We finally, after several years, finished our book, and were very excited. That is, until our self-published book arrived. It looked so awful, the cover was faded and the words were hard to read. My heart just sank. I wasn't sure what to do. I went to my friends Michelle Devon and Derek Odom for help, and they, believing in me and my cause agreed to help me fix it as soon as possible as we had a large fanbase waiting for this book. Michelle and Derek both told me that to get the cover fixed that the best in the business was Farah Evers. took a look at some of her work and was impressed, so quickly agreed and we asked Farah to join us on this roller coaster of turning a disastrous looking book into a beautiful book. Did Farah ever deliver! My book cover went from a 1 to a 100! And the most amazing thing - I've never met Farah before, yet based on a few things she had to quickly learn she turned this around for me faster than I ever imagined possible! Not only did she practically read my mind with envisioning what I wanted for our book cover, she created an imprint for me that knocked my socks off! Being so artistic, yet being able to give me a better version of anything I could have hoped for, I then hired her to do my facebook fanpage timeline and profile picture. WOW is an understatement. She then walked me through the steps of getting a webpage for my book set up through her web hosting. |

I had already published two novels and two short stories, but I was dissatisfied with my cover designer. I knew about Farah Evers through the Accentuate Writers Forum, so I approached her to design six covers--four for the published books and short stories, two for the upcoming novel and short story. I approached her on Thursday, we exchanged a few emails to talk through the details. I had some design suggestions and she took it from there, improving upon my ideas. After two alterations (different silhouette, different symbols on two covers), the covers were finished the next Monday and ready for upload to the retailers. I couldn't be happier about the results. Farah was a joy to work with, professional and courteous and receptive to my vision. The communication was stellar, not just because she understood my vision straight away, but also because the alterations I required were easy to communicate. I have recommended Farah to several authors who were impressed by my covers. |

Recently, I trawled around looking for a cover designer, it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. So now with two covers down and two to go, I can really recommend Farah Evers designs. Her perfectionism can be a bit OTT, but the results and the pricing are more than worth it. So this is a reference from me to you. Could save you a lot of search time too. ;-) Steve |
